对于连续输出的激光,激光功率的大小和方式对切割有着重要的影响。在实际操作中,为了获得较高的切削速度或切割较厚的材料,通常采用最大功率。但光束模式(截面上的光束能量分布)有时更为重要,而且当输出功率增加时,图案往往略有变化。

For continuous output laser, the size and mode of laser power have important influence on cutting. In practice, maximum power is usually used to obtain higher cutting speeds or to cut thicker materials. But the beam pattern (beam energy distribution at the cross section) is sometimes more important, and the pattern tends to change slightly when output power increases.


通常发现,在小于最大功率的焦斑处获得最高的功率密度,并获得最佳的切割质量。这种模式在整个激光器的有效工作寿命中是不一致的。光学元件的状态、激光工作、混合气体的微小变化和流量波动都会影响模式机制。

It is generally found that the highest power density is obtained at the focal spot smaller than the maximum power and the best cutting quality is obtained. This model is inconsistent with the effective operating life of the laser. The state of the optical component, the laser operation, the minor change of the mixed gas and the fluctuation of the flow rate will influence the mode mechanism.


总之,虽然影响激光切割的因素比较复杂,但切割速度、焦点位置、辅助气体压力、激光功率和模式结构是4个最重要的变量。在切割过程中,如果发现切割质量明显较差,首先应检查上述因素并及时加以调整。


In conclusion, although the factors that influence laser cutting are complex, cutting speed, focus position, auxiliary gas pressure, laser power and mode structure are the 4 most important variables. In the cutting process, if the quality of cutting is found to be obviously poor, the above factors should be checked and adjusted in a timely manner.
